Amsterdam - A guide

When it comes to romance and the twinkling sights, nothing is comparable to a good night in Amsterdam. Before embarking on your journey in Amsterdam, be sure to find The Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to have a luxurious space to stay overnight or so. The Hans Brinker Budget Hotel is great for the younger generation who likes to experience a little bit of Amsterdam's culture while being catered to have a splendid nightlife. Enjoy a good glass of wine as you float in tranquility on the river cruise in Amsterdam. Take a few stops on the streets of Spiegelgracht Niewe Spiegelstraat Street to enjoy Amsterdam's shopping facilities that sell antiques items. If you are looking for antique shops, you will want to check out the main areas of Golden Bend and Rijksmuseum located in the neighborhood of Museumplein. Knowing where, what you want to eat and choosing where to eat is important. Restaurants are the gems of Amsterdam. Be sure to visit the Blauw aan de Wal Restaurant found in the middle of the Red Light District; the restaurant is truly a symbol of elegance with their wood floors which have been standing since the 1700's. Getting around Amsterdam is found to be easier with a bicycle or using the public transit. The water park city has plenty of water skywalks and inaccessible areas by means of traveling with a car. When traveling through the city; The Red Light District amongst some other areas will give you the feel of a constant nightlife that seems surreal with light reflections that shine off the water. The pinnacle of Amsterdam is the availability of coffee shops and hash smoking areas. The trip is not complete without a stop in one of the many available coffee shops. Most coffee shops are small with a gloomy environment filled with many people who are habitual users of marijuana. Typically, outsiders who are residents of a country where pot is illegal may feel intimidated being in an Amsterdam coffee shop. But you will fit just fine with the residents who make you feel at ease.
